Homage

Homage to The Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha

(Translation of Than bode day Prayer)

To the past 12,000 Buddhas

To the past 500,000 Buddhas

I humbly pay homage and worship with my head bow down.

The sands of the River Ganges with its 5 big tributaries and 500 small tributaries are too few when compared to the infinite numbers of Buddhas that had gone to Nibbana.

To their Dhamma (Teachings)

To their Sangha (Monks)

I humbly worship and pay homage.

May the good Karma brought about by my deep sincere homage protect me from all evils and enemies. May it abolish all obstacles and harm.
